Argentina–Texas Chamber of Commerce Wraps Up Successful Trade Energy Mission to OTC 2025

The Argentina–Texas Chamber of Commerce concluded a dynamic and impactful Energy Trade Mission to Houston, coinciding with the 2025 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). With the participation of more than 30 Argentine companies, the week began with two key events: the Bilateral Energy Summit and the Pre-OTC International Cocktail, which brought together over 500 participants and representatives from more than 200 U.S. companies in a powerful celebration of energy, innovation, and international collaboration (See next entry for more detail!).

The mission officially launched with a delegation visit to OTC, where Argentine leaders connected with cutting-edge technologies and global decision-makers, reinforcing Argentina’s growing presence in the energy sector. A key highlight was the technical visit to Energy Transfer, where participants toured critical midstream infrastructure in Mont Belvieu and Nederland, gaining firsthand insight into one of the largest energy logistics operations in the U.S.

Midweek, the focus shifted to business development at the Duxa Oil Business Center. More than 100 high-level meetings created new opportunities for cross-border collaboration. During the Duxa Insight session, Vice President Ariel Bosio outlined the evolution of Argentina’s oil & gas industry and its strategic similarities with the Permian Basin.

The mission concluded with a visit to Midland, where the delegation explored innovative technologies at Odessa Separator Inc., Tenaris Midland Service Center, and Flogistix. Led by Undersecretary Federico Veller, these final site visits provided valuable knowledge to support the development of Vaca Muerta.

Throughout the week, the mission strengthened bilateral ties, promoted investment, and opened new avenues for cooperation between Argentina and Texas.
