Argentina–Texas Chamber of Commerce Wraps Up Successful Trade Energy Mission to OTC 2025The Argentina–Texas Chamber of Commerce concluded a dynamic and impactful Energy Trade Mission to Houston, coinciding with the 2025 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). With the participation of more than 30 companies from Argentina, the week featured two key events: the Bilateral Energy Summit and the Pre-OTC International Cocktail, which brought together over 500 participants and representatives from more than 200 U.S. companies in a powerful celebration of energy, innovation, and international collaboration (See next entry for more detail!). The mission officially kicked off with a delegation visit to OTC, one of the world’s leading energy events. There, Argentine leaders engaged with breakthrough technologies and global decision-makers, positioning Argentina as a rising force in the energy arena. A technical site visit followed, hosted by Energy Transfer, where participants explored major midstream infrastructure sites in Mont Belvieu and Nederland—gaining firsthand insight into the inner workings of one of America’s energy giants. Midweek, the delegation stepped into the heart of business at the Duxa Oil Business Center, where over 100 high-level meetings opened doors to fresh partnerships and cross-border opportunities. Each encounter wasn’t just a conversation — it was a bold step toward expanding the global footprint of Argentina’s energy sector. Vice President Ariel Bosio also presented at the Duxa Insight session, highlighting the evolution and promise of Argentina’s oil & gas sector, and drawing strategic parallels with the Permian Basin. The mission concluded in Midland with site visits to Odessa Separator Inc., Tenaris Midland Service Center, and Flogistix. Led by Argentina’s Undersecretary of Liquid and Gaseous Fuels, Federico Veller, the delegation explored technologies and best practices that could support Vaca Muerta’s development. With strengthened relationships, valuable takeaways, and a renewed commitment to energy collaboration, the mission closed with optimism and a shared vision for the future. This initiative reaffirmed the growing bond between Argentina and Texas, grounded in a shared commitment to energy development and long-term collaboration. As Argentina’s oil and gas sector gains momentum, the connections strengthened this week open new doors for innovation, investment, and strategic alignment with global partners. As Ariel Bosio, Vice President of the Argentina–Texas Chamber of Commerce, expressed during the Bilateral Energy Summit: “As many others here, we love our countries and want to make Argentina and Texas bigger and better for the future generations to come. Let’s make it happen.” With this spirit, the Chamber moves forward—driven by purpose, united by opportunity. |
